The Hitzinger 400Hz R-Power Rotary Converter, for 400Hz Ground Power requirements, is an alternative to diesel-driven units. Using a 50 or 60Hz supply, the R-Power rotary converter can provide a clean source of 400Hz 200/115VAC power to meet the exact demands of the aircraft, with power ranges of 40-220kVA and other customs solutions available upon demand.

The de-centralised solutions, allows aircraft manufactures, contractors and airport operators (Many of which already rely upon the quality of the Hitzinger solution) to provide a local source of power, providing a resilient supply to one location. Centralised systems provide a distribution ring, while the de-central solution is completely separate and runs independently from surrounding infrastructure.

R-Power Versions

  • There are multiple versions available for the 400Hz R-Power converter, together with customs design to suit your exact requirements, the most popular versions included soundproofed enclosures (for internal placement), weather-protected enclosures or split versions with freestanding switchgear.

400Hz Power classes

  • The R-Power de-central can provide exact 400Hz power between 40-220kVA, meeting the majority of commercial aviation power requirements. Alternative 'tailored' solutions are available upon request.
