The Hitzinger Rotary Frequency Converters, provide high levels of reliable, quality power over a full range of frequencies. Our Rotary Converters can support 50Hz and 60Hz input frequencies and offer outputs frequencies across an entire range to suit your exact requirements. With over 65years of experience, the Hitzinger Frequency Converters are specifically designed to provide the optimal levels of stability, overload capacity and precision.
The Hitzinger coupled converter for test bay applications provides guaranteed power protection to your exact specification, with the added advantage of vibration dampers for resilient mountings also available.

01. Versions
- There are multiple versions available, including either soundproofed enclosures (for internal placement) or weather-protected enclosures and split versions with freestanding switchgear. Tailored versions are also available upon request (Including special requirements for shock, climate, EMC…)
- Can also be Fitted in 20”, 30” or 40” standard containers
02. Power classes
- From 50/60Hz converters, Hitzinger can provide anything between 10-2,000kVA from a single converter
- For applications that require 50/50 or 60/60Hz, Hitzinger can provide anything between 10-3,500kVA from a single converter

- Asynchronous or synchronous motor
- Different input voltage and/or frequency, i.e. other than 400 V, 50 Hz available, including Input voltage up to 12kV (Specific input voltages are available upon request)
- Output voltages up to 12kV AC and 1000VDC, with a Frequency of 16 2/3 Hz – 800 Hz
- Distortion factor: <1.5 %
- Standard Noise level is <65 dB (A) @ 7m (Additional Noise reduction kits are further available should you require lower sound attenuation)
